Looking for an 11×17 printer for your home or office?
This type of printer is not uncommon, but it is a little more rare than your run of the mill printer. You’ll find that although most companies make this size printer, most do not have the same high quality of their smaller printers.
Of course the larger copier companies make great multi-functional machines that can print, copy, and scan fantastic 11×17 prints. However, not everyone wants or needs a machine like this. With the built in media card, I am able to quickly print off photos right from my digital camera. This is great for when I don’t want to actually store the picture on my computer.
The only drawback to this 11×17 printer is that it is an ink jet printer. This makes it just fine for my pictures but when I am printing out technical drawings or text documents, I prefer using an 11×17 laser printer.
Konica Minolta makes a fantastic multi functional printer that is capable of doing 11×17 laser prints and more. This is one of the only machines in this category that you can buy online without going directly to the company and dealing with sales people and mandatory service plan upgrades.
With a first page output of 8 seconds, it is perfect for small offices that do not do constant printing. Total printing speed is at 24.5 pages per minute for letter size prints.
Also with a twelve month guarantee you can be sure that this 11×17 printer is constantly in a perfect state of working condition. Many other companies would charge you a hefty service fee for a full year of parts and labor.
